If you ride horses, raise horses, or just love horses, don’t miss the annual National Reining Horse Futurity from November 23rd to December 2nd. The event will take place at the Oklahoma State Fair grounds, less than a 10 minute drive away from Best Western Saddleback Inn. Each year, thousands of visitors, exhibitors, and horses are at this event, where the best and most beautiful reining horses from all over the world are put on display. The competition is intense, with over $1 million in cash, prizes, and other awards up for grabs.

The recently released NHRA 2017 Schedule promises a great event as always. Events start as early as 8 am and continue until the evening. The first event open to the public is the Open Futurity on Thursday, November 23rd starting at 8 am in the Coliseum. Thursday the 23rd is also, of course, Thanksgiving, so come on out and enjoy a “Thanksgiving Dinner” in the Sale Arena from 11 am to 2 pm. Among the futurity events everyone is there to participate in and see, be sure to also check out the Silders’ Night Out benefiting the Reining Horse Foundation on November 29th, as well as a the Cinch 20th Anniversary Celebration Party on November 30th.

Best Western Saddleback Inn is proud to be on the list of official NHRA hotel accommodations as a participating hotel. We have everything you’ll need to make this the best National Reining Horse Futurity yet, including complimentary breakfast, high speed internet, onsite dining, pet-friendly rooms, and much more.
